Nämä onnekkaat lapsukaiset pääsivät tekemään tiedettä: He maistoivat  kirpeitä ja pahanmakuisia asioita ensimmäistä kertaa elämässään. Heidän ilmeet ja reaktiot kuvattiin myös erittäin tarkalla kameralla, ja niitä hidastettiin tietokoneella jälkeenpäin.

Videoteos tehtiin TEDxSydney tapahtumaa varten, TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) on yksityinen voittoa tavoittelematon konferenssi, joka järjestettiin ensimmäisen kerran jo vuonna 1984. TEDin slogan on ”levittämisen arvoisia ideoita” (ideas worth spreading). Haukottelu eli haukotus on refleksi, jossa ihminen hengittää syvään suu avoinna. Se yhdistetään usein väsymykseen tai pitkäveteisyyden tunteeseen. Uusien tutkimusten mukaan haukottelu liittyy kuitenkin aivojen lämmönsäätelyyn, kylmä ilmavirta jäähdyttää aivoja.
